Dedicated to Mental Health Excellence

Our Story and Mission

Akili-iMind was founded on a clear, significant premise: mental-health support must extend beyond diagnosis and crisis. Individuals require accessible points of contact when in distress; a listener, professional interventions, opportunities to restore confidence, practical skills and identifiable routes back to independence. Crucially, ongoing support is necessary after the immediate crisis resolves. Akili-iMind addresses these needs by delivering professional, compassionate and personalised services, focused on sustained recovery, wellbeing and autonomy. (akili-imind.org) Recovery is not a discrete event; it is a process that benefits from sustained community around the person. We collaborate with statutory services, families and peer networks to ensure integrated, person-centred pathways and measurable outcomes for each individual.
